As strange sightings, spooky sounds, and sudden bad luck spread, a brave group of kids, led by the adventurous Riley, decide to solve the mystery. Meanwhile, Mr. Drake, a businessman determined to buy the camp and shut it down, grows increasingly paranoid as the strange events escalate. Is the Mothman legend real, an elaborate trick, or just an old campfire story? With 80s-inspired songs, excitement, humor, and plenty of twists, Flight of the Mothman will keep everyone guessing until the very end.
As hosts of a present-day podcast present their latest episode, Flight of the Mothman, the audience is swept back in time to 1984, where a cryptid-infused mystery unfolds at a popular summer camp—Camp Pleasant Pines. Strange rumors about a creature called the Mothman spread among the staff and campers. Some even claim to have caught glimpses of the flying cryptid with its glowing red eyes and massive wings. But with nerves on edge, who can be sure?
The Junior Gumshoe Agency, a group of campers that includes true believer Riley and his skeptic best friend Casey, investigates. As the two friends clash, the residents of Camp Pleasant Pines get caught up in a whirlwind of strange clues and unsettling events. Everyone begins to question what’s really going on—and if the Mothman is behind it all.
